2024: New Shareholder
After many fruitful years in research and development of the electronic control systems of Quantum Controls B.V., Hans Ooms decided to step back in management and as shareholder. As from the 26th of February 2024, Patrick Boumans, our CEO, took over his complete stock portfolio. Hans remains a team member in his role as advisor for R&D as his experience is still of great value for Quantum Controls B.V.
2023: Wetech and Quantum expand their assembly hall
The new hall will be ready for production in early 2024 and has an area of 625m².
Due to the demand for ever larger stabilizers, the hall will be equipped with a 25 and 16 ton overhead crane.
2022: Our latest product is the New RACK & PINION Hull Unit-“R Series”
Introducing the new rack and pinion actuator (hull unit), the “R Series,” designed specifically to maximize the performance of Quantum’s Fixed and XT™ Fins.
Quantum capitalized on their experience and service history with the MAGLift™ Rotor rack and pinion system to then re-engineer and advance the R Series technology. Through complex computational fluid dynamic (CFD) studies and precise model testing, this new system offers incredible advantages.
2019: The DYNA-FOIL.
The Dyna-Foil™ (also known as the wing) is a new dual purpose fully retractable ship stabilizer system that provides exceptional roll reduction for vessels both at Zero Speed™ and underway. The stabilizer system utilizes a unique foil design that allows for a dynamic self-induced lift for outstanding Zero Speed™ operation and a highly efficient lift to drag coefficient for superior underway operations. These desirable characteristics coupled with Quantum’s unrivaled SMC4000 series control system, provides the most technologically advanced stabilizer system in the world.
